A magical remedy to tap into your inner goddess (YES YOU QUEEN OR KING.)
Bath time for me is a sacred place. If you're looking to add one ritual into your self-love routine, adding a bath must be at the top of your list. This time we bring the element of nature into the tub, creating an earthy feeling - allowing you to feel grounded, ease your body from the built-up tension that you hold onto, and find the calm amongst the chaos.
This combination is great for the end of your day to spend a moment alone settling you down for slumber. Calm the chatter of the mind and come back to a place of peace. No fancy spa needed - this feeling can be found in your own home.
Set the space. Diffusing your favorite blend, grabbing a cold glass of lemon water and maybe some light reading. If you're into crystals, find the stone that corresponds with this chakra.
Bath Mediation: Closing your eyes, begin to count the length of your inhale and exhale (one, two, three, four.) Notice how the warmth of the bath makes you feel, and shift your focus to your heart center - visualizing a soft green light at your sternum and between your shoulder blades illuminating.
Heart Chakra Bath Recipe
- Dried Lavender
- Epsom Salt
- Dried Rose Petals
It brings a calming vibe to your experience - aiding in your beauty sleep, relaxing the nervous system + circulation of the blood, and so much more magic. Research to find more benefits.
My obsession with lavender started from a very young age, when my mom would diffuse it around the house. It gives me a sense of peace. Add a half cup to your bath + a couple drops of therapeutic grade essential oil to elevate your experience.
DRIED ROSE PETALS
Adding the rose petals brings a luxurious feel as if you just stepped into a 5 star spa. A very romantic feeling that can help alleviate symptoms of depression, anxiety, alleviate menstrual cramps, and promote healthy skin. If you have therapeutic grade rose oil, add the recommended amount to your bath experience.
Let your inner goddess shine through. Who doesn't want to bathe in rose petals?
